If you're working on a military contract, aerospace assembly, or a critical electronics component that needs to survive extreme conditions, don't even look at a general construction sealant. You're playing a different game.
What you need: You need a validated, certified product that meets specific military or industry standards. The MIL-A-46146 spec is a big deal—it's about high-reliability, non-corrosive, silicone potting and sealing. Dow Corning 3145 RTV is specifically formulated for this.
The buying reality: Price is not your primary concern. The cost of a field failure is way higher than the cost of the sealant. You need something that adheres to concrete, glass, and metal, lasts for years, and doesn't crack with building movement.
